Gig of my life

A zine for Manchester

After the events at the MEN arena in May we decided something as important as live music should be celebrated. That the gigs that most people remember are not filled with fear, dust, and confusion. But with love, joy, and a connection to each other that other art cannot compare to.

We made a zine with people's recollections of the gigs of their lives. And are now selling it in aid of charity.

A number of traditionally hand crafted pages of stories that will put you at some of the greatest gigs in last 40 years.

Gig of my life features contributions from Stephen ‘Tin Tin’ Duffy, renowned comic creator Anthony Johnson, and productivity ninja Graham Allcott and tons of other great writing.

Fermentum

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

Charity

All profits from the fanzine will go to charity: split between the Red Cross We Love Manchester fund for the victims of the bombing and Youth Music (75%), a national charity investing in music-making projects for children and young people experiencing challenging circumstances.

We are Danny Smith, Caroline Beavon, Jon Bounds and more.
