Bonus Cats

I’ve started a new tumblog, it’s for collecting instances of “bonus cats” in the media or it real life. A bonus cat is an unexpected cat in a medium where the cat is not the focus, eg the cat on roof on Corrie titles, or a cat that lives in a pub. The site is […]

Le Nombrilisme

Le Nombrilisme from bounder on Vimeo. A little film I made for this.

The End of the Line

When I organised the 11-11-11 eleven hours on the eleven bus day I didn’t make it too clear to people that it was art — it tends to put people off. But I’ve had a slightly different version of the idea, one that’s simultaneously easier to get involved with and has a wider remit. The […]

Sweary News

I and she do a radio show, The Big Paws, on the award winning Rhubarb Radio. This isn’t a plea to listen to that (although please do), but to give a little focus on a bit of the show that you may not have heard. The Sweary News is the news, but sweary. It’s funnier […]

Worthless Piece of Crap

Geotag the Internet – my rejected 4iP project

Continuing this week’s them of rejection (a bloke could get paranoid), I’ve just heard that my (more in hope than expectation) 4iP project has been knocked back. If you don’t know what 4iP is then a quick look at their website should help, if you don’t care then it doesn’t matter (basically, funding for “public […]

Fiction

I don’t write fiction much, haven’t for years, but I decided to see if I could knock something out for Tindal Street Press‘s Roads Ahead compilation. The brief was simply a “substantial short story”, which I took it on myself to write overnight — as tight to the deadline for submission as possible. Turns out, […]

Google Street View fly-by

Using a route planner for Google Maps, and a screen capture app to capture the screen. This is sort of what it would look like to drive from King’s Heath towards the town centre — the route was going further, but there were gaps in which roads were covered by Street View.
